In the face of death, the Church confidently proclaims that God has created each person for eternal life and that Jesus, the Son of God, by his death and resurrection, has broken the chains of sin and death that bound humanity.

Indeed, the Lord Jesus Christ, by his own three days in the tomb, hallowed the resting places of all who believe in Him, and so made the cemetery a sign of hope that promises resurrection, even as it claims our mortal bodies.

In this faith, Calvary Cemetery stands as an instrument of God’s comforting and loving embrace.
